I really do it's not a lie. I really do hate snow. I think it all stems from the time I was home alone and a tree limb almost landed on my car, or would have landed on my car and smashed it if it had been there.
People can't drive worth shit during snow storms regardless of how little their might be on the streets. A vast majority think well hey I have an SUV or a truck it can get through it. WRONG. One you need to know how to use your 4X4 properly if your SUV or truck does in fact have that, Also just because it's that type of vehicle doesn't mean it has 4X4. Idiots.
When I was little of course I loved the snow, cause that meant no school and I could play in it. I didn't have to worry about driving in it or worrying about other people who can't drive, or shouldn't be driving, driving in that weather. When you are a kid you have no worries and are care free.
Plus staying out in California for about 3 years doesn't really help you love snow, because you become spoiled to the nice, sunshine weather. The weather where the sky is blue and where you might not even have to wear a coat outside.
This explains why when it gets even to like 55 degrees I'm wearing the most gigantic heavy coat that I have to keep me warm because now I get so cold, even when it's actually not really all that cold out.
But oh how I miss those nights in California where all I needed was a sweatshirt to go out and about and never had to worry about ice, sleet, snow, or even hail messing up my car or causing me to slide around the road.
I bet you all guessed that I didn't drive at all during or after this snow storm, because unlike some people I know when it's better to just let someone else drive. I mean it's been so long since I've driven in snow or icey conditions. I think the last time I did was back in high school and I had other people in the car and when we got to school they decided to cancel and the whole parking lot was a sheet of ice but I made it home ok with a little skidding in the school parking lot.
I don't care that the snow might look pretty but, when it's on the road it's evil.
