Well I haven't posted since my last birthday and so much has gone on since then. Hmm where to start.
I guess January would be a good place. I don't remember anything exciting happening except I worked quite bit.
In February went to the best concert I've ever been to Reba and Kelly Clarkson Two Worlds Two Voices Tour. I'm not lying it was the best concert I've ever been to. The music was good, it went through the highs the mellows and brought it right back up to end with good finish. I even enjoyed the music before the show started and the song that was playing to get you to leave. Plus the crowd wasn't rowdy and well behaved, at least where I was sitting. I usually get annoyed at events because either the staff aren't doing what they are suppose to do or other patrons are just being out right obnoxious. But none of that happened during this concert. Plus my sister got to meet Kelly Clarkson before the concert. Which I guess was cool, but my sister totally hosed me. She didn't remember to take her cell phone, so that maybe by some slight chance I could at least get to say yello to Miss Clarkson. You are probably wondering why yello? well usually when I answer the phone and it's my sister's number I say yello instead of hello, or I say what do you want now. But at least my sister could have done that since I was the bigger KC fan, because for this she wasn't really a fan of hers, now she's like her second favorite artist. Oh and to put even more salt in my wounds my sister gives me a picture with her and KC. GRRRRRRRRRRR.
March nothing really happened. But in April I got to see Bon Jovi twice. I'm currently working on uploading photos from the first night I saw. It was a good concert but it mellowed and sometimes didn't reach back to that high at the end of the show, especially during the second show. I still enjoyed the show very much both times, but the momentum kind of just stayed mellow to long before the last couple of upbeat songs.
Then I went to a taping of RAWon May 19th and it was ok, could have been better. I'm pissed about the way the number the seats on the floor in section B. But I've bitched enough about that to last me a lifetime and it isn't going to change things. Security were assholes before the event telling you couldn't take pictures or couldn't get autographs even though the wrestlers were waving you to come over. The show itself could have been better and my streak of seeing Mickie James wrestle live ended. BOOOOOOOOOOO.
And Last week I went to see Walking with Dinosaurs. I held out and bought my ticket the day of one of the shows. It was really something, probably would have meant more to me if I was a little kid because I wouldn't have felt so out of place with all the parents and little kids. But it was still really cool. Quite education for the little ones if they haven't learned about Dinosaurs and prehistoric life. I got me a shirt and the program. I didn't like how they didn't show them actually kill any dinosaurs, but I guess you can't really do that in front of kiddies. All in all very interesting and realistic show.
Then this past Saturday I got to work Rockfest once again. This year however I had a much better position I got to work the mainstage mix. So I got to see my boys Trapt, which was awesome because the first year I worked it and they were there I didn't get to even hear them I was too far away working the fireworks area. So it was nice to see them. I wish I could have been working where I could have said hi to them and what's up and ask about the video that was shot of me talking to them during the Headstrong video filming. I'm still looking for video of me talking to them so if you know of said video or know of the person who might have filmed it let me know because I'd really like to see it. It was a crazy 15 hours working on my feet and telling people they couldn't use the johnny on the spot behind the barricade because it was for people working behind the barricade only. All in all a good day, I just got really tired and bored at the end of the night. It's probably because of the marijuana smoke that was smarmed all around me for the most part the day that just made me extremely tired.
Oh yeah and I went to all but Power and Light District David Cook homecoming activities. Very fun and neat to see someone who went to your high school become such a celebrity and loved by so many people from all around the world. I got my ticket to the first night of the American Idol tour here in KC. My seat should be really good it's not the floor but it's close enough to the stage that my camera should get some great pictures. I'm only going to see David Cook don't really care much for any of the American Idol people.
