Well it's been over one week on the Special K diet and I'm down three pounds. That's nice since the box says 6lbs in 2 weeks and I'm half way there. So we shall see if I end up losing 6lbs on this diet. Sometimes I feel I overdo the one meal you can eat like you normally do, which for me I don't always have that meal last.
Also this week decided to finally put the patch master stuff on the lawn. Hopefully this will fill in the spots. However, put three bags on the lawn and it still wasn't enough to do the whole area they needed some patch work. I guess we'll just have to wait two weeks to see if this fills in, before we get anymore.
Finally this coming Monday I'm going to a Smackdown/ECW house show. I haven't been to a house show since I was in high school. House shows usually have a different feel, because wrestling needs to take precedent over acting because that's basically all you are seeing since it's not on TV. Hopefully there will be some good matches. What would be really cool is if they had CM Punk have a match with RVD, but that's most likely not going to happen since they are both baby faces. But man would that be a pretty cool match.

Th Condemned
Yes, I went and paid to see The Condemned today. I thought it was a good movie. Who really cares what reviewers say. If you want action you aren't going for the best scripts , Vince McMahon although needs to stop putting his words and ideas in thse movie, or a meaningful message. If you want to see people beating each other up to death then this is the movie for you.
I liked the action and enjoyed it very much and you could see that this movie took elements from other movies. But that's ok, I go to movies to escape from this crazy world, not to get all crazy and disect movies like a vast majority of the people I went to college with would do. I don't get how you can enjoy the movie if you take little peices of it of apart and analyze them.
If you go into a movie thinking it's going to be crap, most likely it's going to be crap. If you go into a movie thinking it's going to be the best thing since slice bread, it's probably going to end up being crap. You need to go into a movie with the mindset of my life sucks and I want to escape into a whole new world for an hour and half or so and kick back.
One thing that I disliked about the movie was the abuse against women in this film. Yes it has a point, but this just oozes of Vince McMahon's doing. Yes I understand criminal tend to rape women and abuse them but with one of the guys who isn't even one of the criminals starts hitting up and degrading his supposed woman it's over kill.
Also since it seems that WWE films get a bad wrap, best thing to do would to not call it WWE films and use part of the old title of the company Titan and Call your film division Titan Entertainment. That way maybe the films would be given a bit of a better chance.
Steve Austin is a good actor. I remember seeing him in a few episodes of Nash Bridges and he was very good. He plays a rough and tough loveable badass very well. I do know he played a complete asshole badass in Adam Sandler's remake of The Longest Yard. Didn't really see but a little bit of his part in that movie so I can't really make too much of comment about that. But I enjoy Steve Austin as and actor or a wrestler. When it comes to hard hitting action there is nobody better bottom line.

Special K Diet and Weather
Tomorrow I'm going to start the Special K diet. Yes I know it's a bit of a scam, but I like Special K cereal and the meal bars aren't too bad. I'll keep track of how much weight I lose sticking to the Special K diet for two weeks and see if it really works. Trust me I will stick to it.
Anyhow what about this weather? It looks like we might need Noah's ark. Just a few minutes ago there was hail coming down and I swear it was golf ball sized. Thank god I can put my car in the garage. Although with all this rain water might start to back up in there.
Oh in other news, we no longer get USA, which in turn means no Wrestling for me. I'm not happy at all. So hopefully within a month we will be getting Dish Network or Direct TV I'm leaning more towards Dish Network though. Also means I'll have nothing to do on Mondays for a while, how will I survive? I guess this should leave me more time to clean up the house, in particular my room. However, unlike sticking to the Special K diet I don't see me actually sticking to cleaning my room. I'll get started but then my mind will wonder off.
