Long Time No Talk

I decided to post today and when I clicked on her I had to update my blog. Shows how much I've neglected this blog.

Anyhow not much work lately so I've been severely bored. But between working out and selling and trading my trading cards has made my boredem not so bad.

Besides losing about 20 more pounds I have another mission/goal I have for this year. I'm going to earn up the money to go to Wrestlemania 24 next year. I'm going to get on of those travel packages and all so I've really got to start saving up now, because they start selling those in September. So if anyone would like to ship in to my Wrestlemania fund I'd greatly appreciate. I'll event take loose change and pennies. Eventually all that stuff adds up. Here is to me getting enough money saved up so I can go to Wrestlemania next year.

Speaking of wrestling. I was thinking back to when I was in 6th grade and I got some coins in cash in and sent in for this little pamphlet about how to become a professional wrestler or manager. I know I still have that pamphlet somewhere. Now don't get to thinking that I use to want to be a wrestler because no would ever pay me enough to do that. I just wanted to be a manager, because I just thought they had the coolest jobs they got out there and vast majority of the time get made fun of, bullied if you will, but they could say the craziest shit and set people off and get away with it.

Then again that same year I wrote down that my aspiration was to become a writer for the WWE magazine and I really doubt that will happen, since I ususally write from how I talk not the way you are suppose to when you are writing. You'd think I'd stop doing that since I did get a degree in Communications. One thing I can say is I probably could give you a way better story or interview of wrestlers than some of those who seem to write for the WWE magazine and WWE.com. It seems like wretlers are very edited or are just towing the corporate line, and I understand that to an extent but if you feel there are some other wrestlers who are getting a spot they really aren't deserving of you should be allowed to say it.

Maybe when I finally get to my spring cleaning I'll find that pamphlet again and copy it word for word so you all know what I read. Cause right now I don't remember what all was in it right off hand.

That's another thing there are a ton of idiots in the WWE and in there developmental system that don't know jack about the business. Why have people in the business who have no TRUE respect for it and are just there to pick up a paycheck. Yes I've heard why would I stay here to get injuries and all if I was just here to pick up a paycheck. Well probably because if you didn't you couldn't get a job anywhere else. These idiots need to be forced to watch every Wrestlemania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series and Royal Rumble that has ever happened. Because I can tell you for every one idiot in the WWE that just got in for their looks there is about 100 people who know everything there is to know about wrestling who would kill to be where they are at but they aren't because they don't have the look.

Enough about me ranting about WWE and their flaws. In a couple of weeks I'm going to be getting my haircut. Right now it's pretty long for me, but I think I'm going to get it cut even shorter than I've had in the past.

I think tonight I'm going to read Mick Foley's Hardcore Diaries. Hopefully this is a good book. I enjoy reading the wrestlers books for the backstage stories and all, but I'd like one that really stalks about the business. This one is suppose to talk a little bit about the backstage politics which should be interesting.
