I know I can never come up with really great titles for my post. Anyhow moving on I am contemplating going on a Wrestling Road Trip. But first I'd have to pass it by my mother, yeah I know I'm 25 years old and all but I do still have obligations with the fact my mother pays for a lot of things for me and with helping out with my grandma some thing would need to be rearranged.
I would like to go down to Tennessee and see both the RAW and Smackdown/ECW shows, because one is in Memphis and the other is in Nashville, however I really don't like Smackdown and only to see an hour of ECW would not be worth the ticket price. However, if I went to the Nashville show I could make a stop by and see Jessica, a friend who turned into not being a friend and now being the mature person I am is a friend again plus I wasn't really mad at her just a little miffed at the way things were handle, but the way she acted around me then after what happened made me think she was scared for her life but that's in the past.
Anyhow I really want to go to the RAW show because that's my brand of choice when it comes to wrestling. Also supposedly Trish Stratus is going to be calling it quits when her contract comes up soon, and Memphis is the closest RAW show to here before her contract comes up. So why not go? Money is one of the biggest problems. I mean to drive down there will be about 6 hours so that means at least two fillups of gas at about 30 Dollars each time going there and coming back at least one fillup at 30 so that puts gas at a total of 90 dollars. Don't even ask me about flying that'd probably be ridiculous too. Then if I stayed the night a hotel room is about 34.95 per person and that's talking like the low end of the hotels/motels. I got a lot to think about. Then the tickets range from 40- 20 dollars a ticket and then add on the convience charges and etc so you are spending about 60- 40 dollars a ticket then add parking which I think there is 10 dollars. So the max amount of money I'd be spending would be about 320 give or take.
Plus if I'm in Memphis you know I'm going to want to hit Graceland. Come on now, Elvis Presley was the King of Rock n Roll and me being the music fan that I am couldn't pass up a chance like that to see where he lived and all the hoopla that probably goes on around there because he lived in Memphis. I'm super into pop culture historical sites.
But when I think about it 320 would be probably one of the cheapest Wrestling Outings that I've done. Because I use to go to PPVs on the WWF/WWE's travel packages and those cost a butload but you got tons of opportunities to meet wrestlers which I guess that was a plus because then you were guaranteed that, where as doing it yourself not so much unless you are one of those fans who knows what hotel they stay at in every city and which airlines they fly etc etc.
I know my friends who are reading this and probably a few other people, are like what the hell is wrong with you why would you waste money on this crap. But I'm pretty sure everyone has their own little quirk that they spend obscene amounts of money on whether it be a particular sports or hobby they are really into. So don't give me that hard of time about it. Most of you have known I've liked wrestling since I was like 6 or so when I thought it was real. You don't know how dissapointed I was when I was like 9 and I found out otherwise, but that's another story for another time.
