Haircut

Well this afternoon I'm getting me hair cut, and man am I getting a lot of it chopped off. It will be really really short, hopefully, if I don't change my mind by 2 pm. Maybe even the shortest I've ever had it, besides the time when I was little and cut my hair myself so that it would spike up like my best friend could do with his hair. Hey I was little and dumb, that's when I also thought you could cut Barbie Dolls hair too and it would grow back and boy was I wrong. I never heard the end of both those incidents. But we shall see how it turns out later today, but of course I want have internet access for the reast of the week, like usually so you will have to wait till Sunday to hear about it.

Homes and More

Well yesterday I did get to go to more homes on the homes tour. We went over the Eagle Creek. Only two of the models were open, they were still working on the other four. By that I mean painting putting up, etc. The ones in Eagle Creek were really good. Nice sized rooms and great floor plans. There were some things that weren't exactly the best, but for the most part they were really lovely.

Then we headed over to Monarch View. One of the houses over there just had odd shaped rooms and things that just didn't make sense. The cabinets that were done by some Company called Shamrock had gaps in all of them. Only one of the houses I believe the one built by Krueger Homes was really cool. The floor plan was great and had 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms all of which had showers. The wet bar they had didn't have a place for a mini fridge but othe than that it was really a cool house.

Well that's enough about houses for the time being. We got our tickets and all for our trip to California for my friend CJ's graduation. We are getting in on a Thursday afternoon and staying till Sunday afternoon. Should be a fun trip, haven't been there in over a year and I'm dying for some Jamba Juice. I think that's the first place I'll go to when I get there.

I'm going to call CJ on Sunday cause that will probably be the best day to get a hold of him and let him know I'm coming for sure. Now I just need to figure out what to get him for his graduation present. He got me necklace that had my year and graduation cap on it. So I want to get something he'll actually use or wear, so anyone have any suggestions. He's a business major and I believe he's going to go on to Law School, I'm not for sure since I haven't talked to him in a couple of months. So if anyone has any suggestions please let me know ASAP because I don't have too much time left to find a gift.

Spring Homes Tour

Well it's that time of year around the Kansas City Metropolitan Area, it's the Spring Homes Tour. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's where they have a bunch of new homes and you can look through them. Some of the houses are furnished some are unfurnished. I always love going into new houses because they are always really different than the house I live in.

Well yesterday I went out, by myself might I add, to a few of the houses near my neighborhood. The ones over in Lakewood are the same homes that have been for the past couple of times including the Fall Homes Tour.

Now for the first time I went over to the neigbhorhood near TMC Lakewood called Summit Woods. Which is in Kansas City, but realistically it's in Lee's Summit, but anyhow. I only went to one of the houses cause they were doing construction near the other two houses. but the one I did go in I really liked. One of the big reasons I liked it was they didn't furnish the house for like a family with little kids they actually furnished it, at least the other bedrooms for like an older kid or young adult. The extras bedrooms besides the master bedroom weren't cramped like a lot of the new houses I've seen. They were actually fairly nice sized and roomy. One thing bad about one of the rumors they had this akward space with a door that had some sort of plumbing or something and it seemed sort of out of place and as waste in the room. I wonder why that wasn't located in like the unfinished part of the basement. Overall so far this was the house I liked the best, although the yard wasn't very big and you seemd really close to your neighbors.

Then the final neighborhood I went to was Timber Hills. All of those houses were ok, but they weren't anything to jump up and down for. Maybe that's just because I'm not a homeowner so I don't really know the ends and outs of houses, but I just didn't care for them. Plus you could really hear the highway, which is not a good thing. In one of the houses there was just this space in the upstairs that could have been used for some sort of a room or closet but no it was just a big space. I didn't really understand that. It had a bunch of plug ins in that area but no phone jack or anything so it seemed like dead space to me. But the houses looked fairly nice, but they wouldn't be a house I'd like living in really.

I tired to find houses 700-701 but I couldn't. I think they were a little farther from my neighborhood than I thought. When looking at the map they looked close but I guess they aren't. hopefully I'll get to see some more today. The Homes Tour ends May 8th and if you are interested in find out more about it go to KCSpringHomesTour.com

No Title Cause I Couldn't Think of One

Well today was kind of boring. Except for the fact I'm really getting sick of these people coming to the door and knocking and ringing the doorbell and leaving freaking flyers for there lawn services. It's a waste of paper and time, since I'm the one who freaking takes care of the lawn. 10 flyers have been brought to our door int he past two weeks, it's really starting to annoy me.

Today I pretty much stayed in for the most part. I finally opened up my bedroom window because it was getting really hot and stuffy in the house. Then fans don't do the trick. I wish we could get this attic fan fixed cause that would really help out with the tempature in the house. Plus if the freaking ceiling fan was fixed too it'd be a lot better.

Enough about my griping about people and our house. I got my new contacts last week, and so far I haven't had any irrations. The problem with my right contact was it had a lot of build up on it so much when the doctor tried to polish it he couldn't even get all of it off. So it's a good thing I decided to get a new pair of lenses. but in the long haul I had those same contacts since my JR year of high school which was about 8 years ago. So if I take really good care of these I could have these contact lenses for ages.

So far i've lost 12.5 lbs in 11 weeks yeah that's not like large amounts but at least it's something. I haven't checked inches though really because my clothese haven't really been fitting differently. OR maybe I haven't really noticed.

Anyhow I'm watching the tape of all the Tru Calling Episode they have shown so far and man does Jason Priestley annoy me. That guy has the cocky I'm better than everyone attitude that just really annoys me, reminds me of this other actor that really sends of that vibe too but I can't get into that because, most people who chat with me online probably have a good clue to whom I'm talking about. So I won't go off about that actor cause I've done it enough lately.

Anyhow back to Tru Calling so far the episodes are ok but they aren't fantastic. I think because I'm not watching it when it airs probalby is part of the reason and the fact I can't stand Jason Priestley. But Eliza Dushku is awesome, she will always be , and hopefully we will see her again on something. She'll probably do some more movies. But I'll talk about her some other time when I can give you a whole paragraph about her, hahaha.

I'm sending out some more letters for autographs tomorrow. I have recieved two autographs from writing so far. Then I got a couple others just for some reason that I don't know why one was a thank you card an the other was a valentine card. Then one I won from a fan club trivia contest. I'm waiting on 4 responses two of them I think I will never get a response from. Tomorrow I'm sending out 4, so we shall see how that goes.

What a Begining of The Week

Well this week has started off on a bad foot. First I end up loosing my left contact lense, the one that wasn't causing my any problems, somewhere in the bathroom. Then today while I was fertilizing the lawn, the people behind us now have a freaking boxer who was growling and getting ready to go at me to take me out. Jeez you can't even enjoy your own backyard anymore, not even to do just yard work. I seriously hope nothing else goes wrong this week.

Since it was such a nice day I thought maybe I'd go ride my bike outside. However I hadn't ridden or done anything with my bike in years and so when I pulled it out the tires were flat and looked like they were about to split open. Then I tried to put my rollerblades on, and they don't fit anymore. So there went my doing something outside to occupy my time today.

Anyhow I watched Wresltlemania 21 yesterday and it was alright, I've seen better ones. Only match I was really interested in seeing was Shawn Michaels Vs. Kurt Angle. Didn't go the way I wanted and was a bit better than I expected the match to be considering both of them have suffered severe injuries that have sort of forced them to take it down a notch or two. Was it really worth 50 dollars, not really.
